Puchteca Wellness provides destination retreats that facilitate everything needed to relax and explore new places while receiving individual instruction and customized workshops from the wellness facilitators you enjoy most. 

Custom itineraries are designed by experts and locals of the destinations visited. This relieves instructors and attendees from planning stress, allowing full focus on wellness goals and getting in touch with the places visited through optional volunteer opportunities.

These optional volunteer activities are pre-planned with locally-run organizations supporting humanitarian and environmental initiatives specific to the area. 


MISHA BEISER, RYT

Misha was raised in the mountain town Flagstaff, Arizona, where she was most happy skiing, river rafting, hiking and biking when not traveling with her family. She was always hypersensitive to her Navajo half-brothers’ cultural angst and of the Native American tribes her father represented in his art gallery, which shaped the way she traveled and eventually designed Puchteca Wellness. 

After working in journalism in the immediate years after graduating college in New York City, Misha embraced her love of yoga and saw a need for like-minded yogis and fitness junkies to incorporate social awareness into the retreats they were already taking.

As certified yoga instructor with a background in event-planning and travel writing, she decided to establish Puchteca Wellness as a travel-coordination service for fitness instructors needing more elaborate itinerary planning and who were interested in incorporating philanthorpy into their trips. 


WILL SCHNEIDER, RYT

New York City-based yoga instructor, motivational speaker and Co-Founder of The Yoga Adventure with Zander Gladish. 

Born and raised in NE Pennsylvania, Will is a nature and a people lover. His passion to find peace with himself, others and the world as has led him to yoga as a practitioner and a teacher. Teaching yoga in NYC for the last 6 years, Will is thrilled at the opportunity that The Yoga Adventure provides; a getaway from the routine, getting out of your comfort zone, having fun and finding inner peace!! 

Will teaches a Power Vinyasa Yoga class that will often push your perceived mental, physical and emotional boundaries. Practicing in this way gives his students a continually means to discover and live out their infinite potential.

"Let Go of Your Bullsh*t" has been a huge success attracting nearly 300 participates thus far.  LGoYB is a opportunity for people to discover their "Triumphant Self" and provides tools to access and strengthen this self.

BLAIRE MASSARONI, NASM-CPT, CES, NPC, TRX, NQ NPC BIKINI ATHLETE

Blaire has been passionate about fitness for as long as she can remember. Growing up in Pennsylvania, she was drawn to gyms from an early age and first learned to lift weights with her mother. She realized the sense of empowerment weightlifting could offer early on, especially for her female peers. Before long, she was bringing her girlfriends to the gym after school to try to share that sense of empowerment with them.

Blaire is still channeling this passion into a career as an Elite Level Personal Trainer in New York City years later. The greatest part of her job is helping women to "unleash their inner ladybeast" and to realize their own strength and potential, both physically and mentally.

Her specialties include corrective exercise, kettle-bells, bodybuilding, the TRX suspension trainer, weight loss and nutrition. Clients can expect to burn extra calories in sessions with Blaire, but also to learn something about themselves, about their bodies and new modalities.

Blaire developed a love of exploring new places when traveling internationally with her parents at a young age. She then spent 5 months studying overseas during college, and then an additional 6 months trekking and surfing through Europe and Morocco after graduation. This was when she realized she needed to find a way to fuse and share her loves of travel and fitness.

She believes the exhilaration of arriving somewhere new and relinquishing comfort zones in new environments can be just as empowering as pushing through a new personal fitness record. She is excited to share these special moments with other women through fitness, travel, and volunteerism.

Blaire also loves heavy weights, point breaks, and caffeine.


Yoga is based on the Yama and Niyama. Without these ethics and conducts, we are merely exercising. With these guidelines sincerely implemented, we practice yoga. Kajuan teaches an energized, spiritual and athletic vinyasa flow practice. Each practice is focused on physical endurance, concentration and alertness. He incorporates many facets of the yoga tradition/culture to create a well-rounded exploration of Yoga. His classes are challenging and inspiring, just as life is. With the use of dynamic and static postures linked with fluid transitions, his classes aim to strengthen and free not only the body, but also the mind. He emphasizes pranayama, kriyas, mudras and meditation with a touch of bhakti to invite the transformative power of Yoga to sharpen awareness and elevate us toward freedom and/or relaxation.

Sangeeta

Sangeeta Vallabhan has been teaching yoga in NYC for over 12 years. She offers vinyasa style classes that are challenging, well balanced, grounding and empowering. Sangeeta trained for over 1200 hours and has studied with many teachers, most notably Sharon Gannon, David Life, Gurmukh and Schuyler. She has also been feature in Yoga Journal Magazine.

She encourages students to use the practices of yoga to continually seek out their own voice, their true senses of self and to dispel any need to conform to any one method or philosophy. Her philosophy Solemarch is not based in memorizing yoga scriptures, expensive yoga outfits or fancy postures. It is about using yoga practice to enhance our true nature - to make us kinder, happier and empowered.
